BHP Billiton has agreed to promote its majority stake inside
the IndoMet coal assignment in Indonesia
to its nearby joint assignment accomplice Adaro energy.
The mining giant is believed to have sold its 75 in step
with cent stake in the assignment for $US120 million ($A160.92 million).
"We concluded that even though the project could help a
bigger scale improvement, BHP Billiton has more than a few other growth
alternatives which might be more attractive," IndoMet Coal president James
Palmer said.
IndoMet holds metallurgical and electricity coal deposits in
Kalimantan. The task has been in production considering
