Lloyd’s, the professional insurance and reinsurance market,
has appointed Christopher Mackinnon as its new popular consultant in Australia.
Mackinnon starts offevolved in early February and brings
with him more than 21 years’ experience inside the global insurance industry,
having sizeable knowledge of each the Australian and London
markets. prior to becoming a member of Lloyd’s, Mackinnon turned into leader
executive officer at Gow-Gates insurance agents, where he become liable for the
overall control of the institution of corporations. He has formerly held roles
in international brokerages Arthur J Gallagher, Aon, Marsh and CT Bowring, in
both Sydney and London.
In his new role as Lloyd’s wellknown consultant, Mackinnon
will be liable for market improvement, and for liaising with market
practitioners and regulatory government to hold Lloyd’s presence in Australia.
