Aon Benfield, the global reinsurance middleman and capital
consultant of Aon %, introduced that Servet Gurkan, Chairman and CEO of Aon Benfield
Turkey, plans to retire and will depart the company on July 1st. Ferhan Ozay
will take over as CEO of the Turkish crew, based in Istanbul.
Gurkan joined and founded Aon Benfield Turkey in 2002. all
through his tenure “he created a totally robust crew of experts who helped the
company to emerge as the leading reinsurance middleman within the Turkish
marketplace, with threat switch capabilities spanning treaty, facultative and
capital markets,” said the statement.
Richard Posgate, Co-CEO of Aon Benfield EMEA, described his
tenure as “admirable,” having produced extensive growth inside the place, and
thanked Gurkan for his efforts.
Ozay will file to Ahmed Rajab, CEO of Aon Benfield center
East and North Africa (MENA). He joined Aon Benfield in 2006 to manage each the
treaty and facultative competencies of the Turkish commercial enterprise,
before taking a sole recognition at the facultative account in 2009. He has 23
years of enterprise experience, along with roles of govt vice chairman at
Garanti and Assistant widespread manager at Isvicre coverage agencies.”
